Security Features

Circular holographic security image with 3D appearance and optical pattern

Holograms: Holograms are a flat optical image which looks 3D. It is virtually impossible to copy a hologram by any known printing technique. Having a hologram is the best fraud-preventive security for your cards.

Silver metallic foil stamped in a circular pattern representing hot stamping technique

Hot Stamping: Hot Stamps are applied to cards with especial value or whenever the authenticity of a card is to be protected. Hot stamping means applying colored or metallic foils via heat and pressure onto the surface of the card.

Intricate guilloche line pattern used for anti-counterfeiting security

Guilloche: Complex line patterns formed of two more curves lines plotted according to mathematical principles. Guilloche patterns provide such effective anti-counterfeiting protection that they are used on virtually all banknotes.

Concentric circles with ultra-fine text illustrating microtext printing

Microtext: Involves printing very small text unreadable to the human eye in a specific location on a card surface. Microtext print can be incorporated into the card and cannot be duplicated by dye-sublimation, inkjet or laser printers.

Reflective card surface with holographic overlay and light refraction

Holographic Overlay: Full-faced foiling gives your card a holographic shine, making it unique and eye-catching. The background not only glows but also reveals a reflective foil effect when the card is tilted.

UV light revealing invisible ink text on printed surface

Optical Variable Ink: Special security ink which changes in color depending on the viewing angle. OVI applied by screen-printing and works best when the design allows for an area of solid unbroken coverage.

Blank matte panel section of a card intended for handwritten signatures

Signature Panel: Designated area on a card, usually on the back, where cardholders can sign their name as a form of authentication during transactions. The panel is usually matte and light-colored to facilitate easy writing with ink pens.

Card with black magnetic stripe and printed design elements

Magnetic Stripe: This security feature is visible to the naked eye and does not require any verification device. It is available for both LoCo and HiCo magnetic stripes, and can be printed with custom text, design elements, and special color effects.
